Oil Terminal in Mozambique (50 000 m3)

This green field project is among the most interesting one we did, as we started from scratch on a bare plot of land in Matola. There was an important excavation work done during nearly 5 months and then we started pilling works for the 5 Tanks. The tanks has been design as per API to the maximum allowable height of 22m each with geodesic domes and internal floating roof on the MOGAS tank. As it was a fully automated terminal, we used Honeywell for all instrumentation and TMS (Terminal management system) as well as ESV’s on the main pipeline.
The full capacity of this terminal was to load 180 Truck on an 8 hours shift as well as 60 railway wagons.
